  Poor customer service!! Ordered Lovely new bed Lady in the shop was helpful to begin with. However when the bed was delivered it was broken due to transit. Sometimes these things happen therefore its understandable. When trying to rearrange new bases for bed this process was long and extremely unprofessional. The customer service at the East Kilbride store was shockingly poor and unprofessional. No one seemed interested to help. To order these new bases took an extra month. When the original bed was delivered in 1 week! We had paid for the head board and based to be assembles on delivery however the original bed was damaged and couldnt be assembled. Therefore we were told that when the new bases were delivered this would not be complete for us. Because it is another company delivering the bed. When the new bases arrived the delivery men assembled the bed for us however they were told not too. All of the delivery men were lovely and professional. This rating is based on the staff in the store. I feel that the customer service at East Kilbride Store could be substantially improved! Discussions numerous times over the phone without definitive answers and unhelpful staff. Staff should be trained in communication skills when dealing with customers. I will not be a customer for carpetright again. I will be discussing with friends and relatives and shall not be influencing them to use your stores. As the hassle from the staff was just not required.
